Genius Hour Bye Week

  1. This has been a difficult week with quarter ending. However, I have planned to restructure my methods for Unit 3 and hope this will create a better learning environment for the students. :-)

    1. It's hard to believe the first quarter is already finished. Hope your weekend is extra rejuvenating! So...do tell. What is one method you plan to restructure and how so?

  2. I am going to "chunk" the unit exam so that it is more manageable for my lower level students. I am also going to have them keep everything in class in a provided notebook and work on not assigning homework...at all. I have lots of plans in my head and I am working on getting them on paper this weekend so I will have a clearer picture of how it will actually go. ;-)

    1. I wholeheartedly believe "chunking" lessons is good for every level of student. But "chunking" assessments for lower level students can be a game-changer! It builds confidence as success breeds success. Best wishes!
