Hi, Laurie! Thanks for hopping on the site to get this party started.
DeleteHaving fun this week hanging with my FJHS "peeps" learning about TM. Lots of summer time exploring DMeyer's 3 act lessons on his blog and trying to read new tweets from math pros.
ReplyDeleteHi, Rhonda! Yay for new learnings this summer! Great idea...I'll start a Twitter handle listing in the right side bar...so glad you thought of that. :)
DeleteHello to all!!!! Feeling stressed due to lack of time to play and prepare for the start of the year. I need to decorate in my room, but I may have to attend a "hot gluers anonymous" since there is no hot glue this year.
ReplyDeleteLove the blog Lisa! Thank you for all the wonderful resources.
Hi, Nicole! From one hot glue addict to another, the thought of decorating a classroom without my glue gun seems paralyzing. I would probably spend a small fortune on Command strips! Haha!
DeleteHey:) I have really enjoyed my first summer break in 9 years, but between playdates and pool time I have been reading and scouring the web for new ideas and tools as well as brushing the dust of my toolbox:) I am so happy to be joining the pack and looking forward to the adventure that awaits me in the coming year!
ReplyDeleteHi, Waynette! And it was definitely a well-deserved break! We're so glad you chose FJHS as your community for return to the classroom. Enjoy every moment.
DeleteHello! So...for the first time EVER I have attended to all things non-school related over the summer (except for a few workshops and I have pretty much forgotten all that great information I learned, ha!). Now I am really feeling overwhelmed. I don't even know where I put stuff that I need to work on. Sad, really. But I am sure when those kiddos walk in, everything will be great and that is all that matters! See you all soon!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Paula! Just think...you could have non-school stuff AND school stuff calling your name...progress is progress! And you're absolutely right...it's a bright new year filled with amazing possibilities. Enjoy those Timberwolves!
DeleteOh my goodness I'm just now getting around to posting. (I found the link to the blog while cleaning out my 500 (seriously) e-mails.) We are having a great year so far! The blog looks AMAZING!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Sarah! No worries...I'm certain you've been buried in new math supplies during your back-to-school days. :) Glad things are off to a great start! A long weekend awaits...
